马修•格林 is a quantitative sociologist who researches the theoretical mechanisms that link ethnic identity processes (i.e., ethnic identity development 和 ethnic-racial socialization) to the health 和 delinquency outcomes of adolescents 和 young adults. He is specifically interested in the general mechanisms specified by the social psychological literature (e.g., 验证, 增强, perceptions of threat 和 intergroup attitudes) 和 the micro-level mechanisms traditionally employed in criminological theory (i.e., social learning, social bonds, strain 和 self-control).
