If you are a student on academic probation who has previously returned from first disqualification and you fail to achieve a 2.0 GPA, you will be placed on second academic disqualification. A petition to the College of Science 学生服务 Committee is required to be readmitted to the university. It is important to note that it may not be approved.
If you wish to appeal for reinstatement, you will be asked to meet with your probation advisor and have an honest discussion about the reasons you were placed on academic disqualification and to assess your academic and personal goals. Your advisor will work with you to decide if a petition for reinstatement is in your best interest. Note: The Registrar’s Office will drop students from their next semester’s classes if those students on academic disqualification are not reinstated by the deadline.
